Explore the context of abuse in relationships from survivors and young people from across Leicestershire and Leicester City in this hard hitting, thought provoking and emotional exhibition. Featuring paintings, drawings, textiles, fashion, poetry, written word, videography and performance arts to raise awareness and tell stories of hope and recovery. Charnwood Arts is wheelchair friendly at ground level - access ramp available if required.

A Colloquy of Micro:bits: Exhibition by Sean Clark

Sean Clark will be showing a series of audiovisual artworks. This work consists of a collection of Micro:bit computers that exchange messages and generate light and sounds as part of an ever- changing conversation. Participants can also interact with the artwork, adding their own sounds and sequences. The venue is accessible by wheelchair.

Between Light and Shadow: Exhibition by Yeshan Yang

This exhibition uses light and shadow to challenge the viewer's perception and tries to provide an immersive and interactive experience. The exhibition will be a combination of installations, morphing sculptures and videos. The gallery is located on Pearce Square. It is directly opposite Cope Auditorium, which is next to Loughborough College.

The Light Project: Window Display

A series of lanterns with LWC groups, viewable as a window display from outside the building. Part of the Light Project, coordinated by Charnwood Arts, which explores how light is featured in winter celebrations across cultures.

Everything Equals Experiment: Members Exhibition 2023

The Modern Painters, New Decorators annual Members Exhibition showcases recent work by studio holders and associates, encompassing painting, print, sculpture and installation. Our members are all practicing artists with a tie to Loughborough and are made up of students and emerging, established and self-taught artists. Visitors can enter via the George Yard entrance, with improved access for wheelchair users with a threshold ramp.

The Old Rectory Museum

Exhibition and Tours

Set in the Medieval centre of Loughborough, The Old Rectory is a stone-built 13th century manor house. The building houses a museum run by the Loughborough Archaeological and Historical Society. Explore the history of the Old Rectory or be guided on a tour by one of the team.

Seasons: Exhibition by Studio at 17

Running for over thirty years, Studio at 17 (previously Albert Street Artists) has evolved from small beginnings where the group provided arts classes for mental health users, to a group with its own studio space, gallery and courtyard. Featuring paintings, drawings, prints and more by the members of Studio at 17.
