About the market
Following the launch of our new purpose-built venue at Aumberry Gap in September 2025, we’re excited to host our first Winter Market across two days:
Friday 5 December, 5–8pm and Saturday 6 December, 10am–3pm.
The event will feature independent makers and stall holders from across the East Midlands, alongside our next exhibition — a solo show by Janhavi Sharma — and Corita, our resident pop-up bakery. Expect a mix of artists, designers, and festive treats. Free entry and family-friendly.
Our stallholders
Ellerbea (@ellerbeaprints)
Ellerbea creates original art prints designed to bring colour and character to your walls. From illustrated risographs to textured monotypes, each piece is thoughtfully crafted and influenced by mid-century modern design. The collection spans playful greetings cards, bold prints and limited-edition lithographs.
Bindi Red (@bindired20)
Bindi Red produces hand-crafted gemstone jewellery made to empower and connect. Each piece is created with intention, using carefully selected stones that reflect the wearer’s individuality. The collection brings together expressive design, symbolism and the natural qualities of gemstones.
Braided Grain (@braidedgrain)
Braided Grain is a third-generation straw worker specialising in traditional straw objects and corn dollies. Using heritage grain varieties, this endangered craft honours rural customs where harvest tokens were made to protect the “spirit of the harvest” through winter. Each piece is crafted with historic techniques and contemporary care.
The Tangent Gallery (@the_tangent_gallery)
The Tangent Gallery is an artist-led studio based in Loughborough town centre. The collective co-creates items to support their studio activities and offers original artwork, prints and greetings cards by individual studio members.
i.oh.na (@i.oh.na)
i.oh.na is an illustration-led project transforming playful drawings into risograph prints, cards and zines. Each piece begins as a doodle, conversation or curiosity — inspired by food, community, nature and queerness. Every item is printed by hand using energy-efficient risograph processes and rice-bran inks, giving each print its own quirks and vibrant fluoro tones.
Holly Sees More (@holly_sees_more)
Holly Sees More brings together vibrant florals and mindful design across prints, textiles and stationery. Each piece is infused with rich, earthy tones and a sense of reflection, growth and renewal. The work blends gentle illustration with uplifting botanical forms.
Corita (@foodbycorita)
Corita is a microbakery and food project based at Modern Painters, New Decorators. Working with simple, seasonal ingredients, Corita creates bakes, drinks and small plates for pop-ups and events across the East Midlands. Expect thoughtful flavours, warm hospitality and a menu designed for slow, savourable moments.
MPND Shop
The MPND shop stocks a curated selection of cards, jewellery, puzzles, magazines and Christmas decorations by local and national makers and designers. Our collection changes seasonally and supports independent creatives from across the region.
